eTutor was conceived by Dr. Martha Angulo, an educator with more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, principal and school district superintendent.  Dr. Angulo first began developing eTutor in 1997 to apply her rich experience in education to the newly discovered power of the internet.  The online school now rests on a foundation over a decade in the making.  eTutor began in Chicago, Illinois and moved its main office to Boulder, Colorado in 2008.  A satellite office is maintained in Park Ridge, Illinois.

eTutor is the premier product of Knowledge Headquarters, Inc. a privately held Illinois corporation.  Knowledge HQ is a certified WBE (Women Business Enterprise) and is registered with the Better Business Bureau of Colorado.

Dr. Martha Angulo, President

Dr. Martha Angulo is an educator experienced as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.  She has held positions in inner city schools, rural and suburban districts and has worked with Early Childhood  through post graduate university students.  Dr. Angulo holds degrees in Special Education, Elementary Education and Educational Administration. She has been recognized for her excellence in education by universities and administrative organizations.

Kate Biedrzycka, Tutor/Editor

Kate is experienced tutoring students at all levels. Her expertise in math is instrumental in both tutoring and editing eTutor's curriculum.

Consultants

Dr. Angulo and Ms. Biedrzycka are assisted by a large cadre of consultants in technology, sales, curriculum, and design.  The eTutor curriculum is original to the program and has been written by registered teachers throughout the country.
