Ratio and PercentageStudents will be able to understand and use ratios and percentages. Objectives- Interpret ratios.
- Construct and solve proportions.
- Apply ratios and proportions in real-life situations.
- Interpret percents in various settings.
- Apply percents in real-life situations.
At the Primary level ratio and percentages are introduced at the third grade level. Decimals, fraction percentages and ratios are the focus of the Intermediate grades. Middle/Junior High students find percent and use concepts in real life situations. Solving problems of percent are the focus at the High School level.
